Vijay Sethupathi is prepping up for the release of
‘Junga’
, which is scheduled for a release this Friday.
As per latest reports, the film has completed censor formalities and has been passed with a clean ‘U’ certificate.
Reports suggest that the makers have locked the runtime for 2 hours and 37 minutes. ‘Junga’ will be clashing with the Trisha-starrer ‘Mohini’, which is reported to be a horror-comedy.
Directed by Gokul of ‘Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara’ fame, ‘Junga’ is tipped to be a gangster comedy, which has been in the making for sometime. Produced by Vijay Sethupathi himself, the makers have spot in places like Portugal for the film. ‘Junga’ is an important film for Vijay Sethupathi, whose last film ‘Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren’ became a dud at the box office.
Starring Sayyeshaa, Yogi Babu and
Madonna Sebastian, the film has music by Siddharth Vipin, who had scored the music for ‘Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara’.
Meanwhile, the teaser of Vijay Sethupathi-starrer ‘96’ was unveiled earlier this month, has gotten very good response on YouTube. Also starring
Trisha Krishnan in the lead, the film is being directed by C Prem Kumar. Apart from ‘96’, Vijay Sethupathi also has projects like
‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’
,
‘Super Deluxe’
and
‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’
in the pipeline.
