We had earlier reported that J Sathish Kumar, who has earlier bankrolled films like 'Thanga Meengal' and 'Kuttram Kadithal', is currently working on his debut directorial venture. Titled as 'Fire', the film is said to be a thriller drama starring Balaji Murugadoss of 'Bigg Boss Tamil' fame and Chandini Tamilarasan in the lead roles. The latest is that the shooting of the film began yesterday.

The film is said to be a content driven film that’s inspired by a real-life incident. It talks about women in society and how they should be conscious as they are being trapped in various issues.
While Balaji Murugadoss plays one of the leads and he will be seen playing a boy-next-door character, actress Sakshi Agarwal, Gayathri Shan, and Rachitha play crucial roles in the film.
