Salpetta
. The
boxing
movie stars
Arya in the lead role and also has
Kalaiyarasan and
Santhosh Prathap in crucial roles.
The actor has revealed that he has completed shooting his portions in the film. He tweeted, "And its a wrap for me #salpetta . Had an amazing experience working with Pa Ranjith Sir @beemji,my Super Handsome brother Arya @aryaoffl, @Actorsanthosh."
The actor also shared pics of him with Ranjith, and the rest of the team, including Kalaiyarasan, Pasupathy, John Vijay and Poster Nandhakumar.
Actor Kalaiyarasan responded to Kokken's tweet about finishing shoot and posted, "It's was super working with u bro .. love u @johnkokken1 bro... I know how much hardwork u have put for #salpetta. Long way to go bro .. u rock."
The actor had worked on his body quite a bit for this action drama. He had earlier revealed that he had been working on his agility and core strengthening and had also been undergoing boxing training for the film.
Sharing a video of his training regime, John Kokken had previously posted, "Prepping for shoot post lockdown for my upcoming tamil movie #salpetta #arya30. Training in agility and core."
Salpetta is set in
North Madras
and revolves around the boxing community in the area. The film is Ranjith's follow up after two films with Superstar Rajinikanth — Kabali and Kaala. The music for the film is by Ranjith regular
Santhosh Narayanan.
