Jiiva to perform in Switzerland this New Year

The buzz in the industry is that Jiiva, along with singer Krish and his wife, actress Sangitha, would be performing in Switzerland this New Year at an event that is said to be funded by Karuna, a highly placed figure in the Sri Lankan political scenario. What���s interesting is that the Tamil film industry has never been kind with those who involve themselves in the Sri Lankan issue.
However, claiming that the story has been twisted out of context, Jiiva clarifies, ���The Tamil Sangam in Switzerland is said to be hosting a function to honour Krish and Sangitha. Since I would be in Europe at that time, they asked me to visit Switzerland to attend the event and also spend the New Year with them.���
The actor adds, ���I will have to rethink my decision if this snowballs into a controversy.���
