Santhosh says, "After SMS, we haven't seen Jiiva play a jolly character. This film marks his comeback in that genre as he plays a fun loving guy. He hails from a middle class background, and works for a company. As much as it's fun, has humour and romance, the film delves into one's personality. Every person has both a good and dark side to their personality, right? This will show that albeit in an interesting manner."

VTV Ganesh, TSK are also part of the cast. "We have just begun shooting in Chennai. The film is set against the backdrop of Coimbatore and will begin our schedule there soon. In fact, Jiiva will speak in a Coimbatore slang," says the director.

Malayalam music director Shaan Rahman will score music, while Siddharth Ramasamy handles the cinematography. He says, "I was working under director Sasi for a long time. I met Jiiva over a year ago and narrated the script. He really liked it, but he was busy with prior commitments. Glad to have rolled out the project now."
