, known for his popular songs, is all set to return to direction with '
Medhavi
' starring
Jiiva, Action King
Arjun and
Raashi Khanna in the lead roles. The shooting of the film kick started with a pooja today, where the lead stars were present.
The popular lyricists has earlier directed 'Strawberry' in 2015 and 'Aarudhra' in 2018. 'Medhavi' will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja with cinematography by Deepak Kumar Padhy. The film also has Radharavi, YG Mahendran, Rohini, Azhagam Perumal, KPY Dheena, Sha Ra among others as the supporting cast.
Produced under the Makkal Arasan Pictures banner, the film is touted to be a horror-thriller and is reported to have Jiiva playing an assistant director in the film with Arjun donning the role of an investigative cop. Meanwhile, it is said that Raashi Khanna will be playing a news reporter in the film. ‘Medhavi’ marks the first time union of Arjun and Jiiva.
