Actor Jayam Ravi, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan: II' is all set to begin shooting his next film. It is known that the star actor's next under the production of Ishari K Ganesh is said to be directed by Bhuvanesh Arjunan, a former assoicate of director Mysskin. The latest is that the film reported to be titled 'Genie' will kick off tomorrown with an official pooja.
The movie, which is Jayam Ravi's 32nd film is said to be a Rs 100 crore project with Kriti Shetty playing the female lead. The film which has music composed by AR Rahman is also said to have Kalyani Priyadarshan and a Bollywood actress playing lead roles.
The shooting of the film is being planned to commence tomorrow and after a two day shoot, the team will resume shooting for the film July 20.
Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi has an interesting line up of films, which includes the long awaited 'Iraivan', 'Siren' and a film with Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi.
