With Sivakarthikeyan's 'Amaran' already locked to release for Diwali, either Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' or Ajith's 'Vidaamuyarchi' is said to be joining the Diwali. The joining of another biggie might make it tougher for Jayam Ravi's 'Brother' since the film has a threat of getting a lesser number of screens than the other films. So, we have to wait for an official announcement to see whether the 'Brother' makers go with the same plan or find another release date.

Directed by M Rajesh, 'Brother' will be an emotional drama, and the film has Jayam Ravi, Priyanka Mohan, and Bhumika Chawla in the main roles. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music, while the first single track 'Makka Mishi' is grabbing better attention on musical platforms. The cinematography and editing are handled by Vivekanand Santhosham and Abisish Joseph, and the film is to be released in Tamil and Telugu parallelly.
