Meanwhile, a screenshot stating the 'Agilan' story has been doing rounds on social media and it states that the film will be a battle between a crane operator Agilan and a customs officer Gokul. Jayam Ravi is said to be playing a dual role in 'Agilan' and the latest screenshot explaining the film's story adds power to it. The trailer of 'Agilan' was released three months back, and the makers might release a new trailer or a scene from the film to boost the buzz for the film among the audience.

'Agilan' is set on a sea backdrop and the film involves huge graphical frames. Directed by Kalyan Krishnan, the action thriller has Priya Bhavani Shankar and Tanya Ravichandran as female leads, while the film's music is scored by Sam CS. 'Agilan' marks Jayam Ravi's first release after the epic historical drama 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' and the hype from Mani Ratnam's directorial is certain to help the actor with his next release.
