Jayam Ravi reveals to launch his debut directorial featuring son Aarav Ravi

Actor Jayam Ravi, now going by his birth name Ravi Mohan, is set to embark on a new journey as a director under his newly launched production banner, Ravi Mohan Studios. In a candid interview with Behindwoods, Ravi Mohan revealed that he will direct, produce, and star in a film alongside his son, Aarav Ravi.

Sharing details about the project, he said, "My father has an exceptional script, and both my son and I will act together in this film. I will be directing it. Aarav has a deep passion for acting, as he demonstrated in his debut film, 'Tik Tik Tik'. Once he completes school, we will bring this project to life."

The father-son duo previously shared screen space in the 2018 Tamil space thriller 'Tik Tik Tik', directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, and their reunion has fans buzzing with excitement.

Ravi Mohan recently faced personal changes, including his separation from wife Aarti, with whom he shares two sons, Aarav and Arnav. While the boys currently live with their mother, Ravi Mohan remains actively involved in their lives.

On the professional front, Ravi Mohan’s latest film, 'Kadhalikka Neramillai', released during Pongal, opened to strong responses, grossing ₹2.25 crore on its first day. Directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi and co-starring Nithya Menen, the romantic drama has resonated well with its target audience, further cementing Ravi Mohan’s continued success in Tamil cinema.
