Jai gets injured while shooting fight scene; the actor confirms

Actor Jai, who made his debut as a solo lead with 'Chennai 600028' way back in 2007 and has done memorable roles in several other films, got injured during the shoot of one of his films, recently. According to a report the actor injured his right shoulder while shooting a fight scene. However, the actor took a physio session and joined the team back for shooting soon.Now, the actor took to his social media page to confirm the news and wrote, ""Yes.. Was totally an unexpected accident during the fight scene.. But work has to go on.. Took a physio and resumed work immediately… (sic)."

Though Jai's solo lead debut was with 'Chennai 600028', he had his first big screen appearance in 2002 with Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bhagavathi' in 2002. He played the role of Vijay's brother in it. Some of the other films that he's known for are 'Subramaniapuram', 'Engeyum Eppodhum', 'Raja Rani' and 'Kalakalappu 2' Now, he has a few upcoming projects like 'Breaking News', 'Yenni Thuniga', 'Kuttrame Kuttam' and 'Shiva Shiva'. Sometime ago, there were also talks going on that he would be part of Atlee's production, which would be directed by one of his assistants.
