Jai Akash, who has acted in a number of Tamil films including Ramakrishna, Gurudeva and Sevvel, is excited about helming his Tamil-Telugu bilingual, Anandam Arambam. The film is a sequel to his hit Telugu film, Anandam. Jai Akash, who has earlier directed Sweet Heart and Mr Rajesh, says,
Anandamwas directed by Sreenu Vaitla, and was a romantic entertainer that was later remade in Tamil and Kannada as well.
The film had scope for a sequel; in this film, the lead characters have aged and their journey takes a new turn. I finished the first schedule in Chennai, and the next one will take place in Hyderabad. While the lead roles will be played by the same actors in both the versions, Ive roped in characters artists from both Tamil and Telugu industries.
Angel Singh,
Jiah Khan, Alakkiya, Mansi and Ramya will be playing the female leads, and Suman has been roped in for an important character.
