"I always call SP

Jananathan

'Captain', and admire his sincereness. SP Jananathan's loss is a big loss for me and the industry. We were in discussion to do a sequel to the National Award-winning film 'Iyarkai' after the director's current film '

Laabam

' starring Vijay Sethupathi. We had also planned to shoot for 'Iyarkai 2' in Fiji or Norway."

While speaking about his bond with SP Jananathan, Shaam said, 'I rang up or met the captain whenever I felt negative, and he would always encourage me. He has also said to me that your time will come for one day Shaam, but don't lose your positiveness or energy. SP Jananathan was not a money-minded person, and he would come forward to reduce his salary if the film's production cost increased."

He also spoke about his second film 'Purampokku' with SP Jananathan, Shaam stated ''He asked me to do the cop role naturally with calm, and he is best in capturing the needs of his film stars. I, Arya, and Vijay Sethupathi had a great time working together in the film, and we discuss a lot regarding any improvements."

Shaam got emotional while recalling his memories with SP Jananathan on his birth anniversary, and he said that he can't accept his loss.
