I’ve always loved Tamil films: Eesha Rebba

Tollywood girl Eesha Rebba will be the female lead in director Ezhil’s next with GV Prakash. And the actress can’t contain her excitement to be working in the Tamil film industry.
“I consider this to be my debut film. And I am happy to be working with Ezhil sir and GV Prakash. I have been getting a lot of offers in Tamil, but I was waiting for the right one to come along.And of course, who doesn’t dream of working in the Tamil film industry? I’ve always loved the films that are made here and kept myself updated with the latest releases. I loved Aruvi and a few other films. One day, I got a call asking if I would be interested in listening to a script by Ezhil sir. I flew down to Chennai, met the director, and heard the script. And things fell in place very quickly after that. Ezhil sir has taken some wonderful comedies in the past. This film, too, is of the same genre, more like a fantasy. I liked the way he narrated my role... and yes, it has ample scope to perform.”
The shoot for the film has just begun and Eesha says that she’s slowly settling down. “I can understand Tamil and can even talk a little bit. But I am certain that over a period of time, I will be able to pick up the language better. I shot for my first scene recently and even met GV on the set. He’s a fine composer and actor. I am looking forward to the shoot,” she says.
