We had recently reported that actor
Sivakarthikeyan, who is now busy with the movie ‘Don’, is all set to team up with director
Rajkumar Periyasamy
for his upcoming movie. Now, it has been officially confirmed and the film will be bankrolled by
Kamal Haasan’s
Raaj Kamal Films
International in association with Sony Pictures Films India.
Annoucing the project, Kamal Haasan posted in Tamil which translates to, "Some jobs bring happiness; Gives some dignity and pride. This film will make everyone proud. It's a pleasure to be traveling with such young people like Sivakarthikeyan and director Rajkumar Periyasamy."
An excited Sivakarthikeyan posted in Tamil and English, which said, "There are plenty of surprises in this world that are hidden in this world. Excited to join with two strong forces of cinema, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan sir and Sony Pictures Films India. Thanks to my friend director Rajkumar Periyasamy for making this happen."
It is to be noted that Sivakarthikeyan had worked with Rajkumar Periyasamy in a private Tamil channel in Chennai and the duo had collaborated on many projects and shows for the small screen.
Meanwhile, the director posted, "Dear @ikamalhaasan Sir, I feel euphoric and it’s a great honour for me.Thank U sir. Delighted to embark on this special journey with my brother,loving friend @Siva_Kartikeyan" (sic)
