It's official: Sequels for Vijay Sethupathi, Ashok Selvan and Sundeep Kishan's hit films

Producer-turned-filmmaker CV Kumar's next is the sequel to Indru Netru Naalai, which had Vishnu Vishal, Miya George and Karunakaran essaying lead roles. The scripting for 'Indru Netru Naalai 2', which will have Vishnu Vishal and Karunakaran is almost complete. Last year, the acclaimed producer had revealed that he had plans to come up with sequels for a few of his previous movies, too, like Soodhu Kavvum, Mundasupatti and Thegidi.
But now, CV Kumar has officially confirmed that the scripts for sequels to three of his previous film are in the finishing stage. The producer through his production house's social media page first put out a poll asking the fans which film's sequel they would want to see among Soodhu Kavvum 2, Thegidi 2 and Mayavan 2.

While Vijay Sethupathi starrer super hit film 'Soodhu Kavvum' topped the polls with almost sixty two percent of fans voting for it, producer CV Kumar surprised the fans revealing the the scripts for all the three films he had mentioned are in the finishing stage.

An official announcement of the sequels are expected to be made after the lockdown due to coronavirus scare is lifted.
