It is known that actor
Dhanush had recently wrapped up shooting of his film with director
Karthik Subbaraj, which was tentatively called '
D40
' and has moved on to shoot for his next film titled 'Karnan' with director Mari Selvaraj. We had earlier reported that Dhanush's 'D40' is speculated to be titled as '
Suruli
'. Now, it has has been official confirmed that the film starring Dhanush and
Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead is titled 'Suruli'
The film is bankrolled by YNOT Studios and Reliance Entertainment. The latter production company shared their massive line-up of films for 2020 and interestingly they have mentioned 'Suruli' along with the shooting spot picture of 'D40' team.
The film also has Kalaiyarasan, Joju George and Hollywood actor James Cosmo in important roles. Santosh Narayanan is composing music for the film while the camera is cranked by Shreyaas Krishna.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is awaiting the release of 'Pattas' directed by RS Durai Senthil Kumar.
