After directing the super hit romantic flick ‘OK Kanmani’ in 2015,
Mani Ratnam has been off the radar for quite some time. However, his absence from the scene has only given him some more time to work on his next project. The ace director has been busy working with
Karthi and
Aditi Rao Hydari for an upcoming film called ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’.
Shooting for the romantic film which began in early July is now complete and the movie has entered the post-production stage. Moreover, it has also been revealed that ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ has been scheduled to hit theatres in March 2017.
Atharvaa to work with Mani Ratnam? Karthi will be seen playing a pilot in the movie while Aditi will take on the role of a doctor. As always, director Mani Ratnam has picked music maestro

to add his magical touch to the film by composing its soundtrack.
