National award-winning director
Sudha Kongara is now directing the Hindi remake of her award-winning film ‘Soorarai Pottru’. She will soon be teaming up with the production house that produced the pan-Indian film ‘
KGF’. The production house made an announcement a few months ago that they are collaborating with the director to make a film based on true events.
Reportedly, there’s a new buzz that actor Simbu will be working with Sudha Kongara for that film.
There has been no official announcement yet and it is expected that the film will go on floors at the end of the year. It is stated that the director will begin work on the film after she completes directing the Hindi remake of ‘Soorarai Pottru’.
On the work front, Simbu was last seen in the film ‘Maha’ which released on July 22. He is awaiting the release of his film ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ directed by
Gautham Vasudev Menon which is set to release on September 15. He will soon be shooting for his films ‘Pathu Thala’ and ‘Corona Kumar’.
