was expelled from the Dubbing Artistes Union, she alleged that the Radha Ravi’s Datuk honour from the Melaka government was fake and also posted a screenshot of an email from the Special Secretary (Public Affairs) of the Chief Minister of Melaka confirming the same. While Radha Ravi claimed that the email was fake, he is yet to provide proof to substantiate his claim.

Now, the latest is that a Malaysian media house has also reported that Radha Ravi’s ‘Datukship’ is not from Melaka government. Prasanth Kumar Brakasam, the special secretary, confirmed again that Radha Ravi's name was not in the state's database of title recipients. He also informed the media house that an official letter will be issued by the Melaka Chief Minister's Office soon.

The news of Radha Ravi being conferred the reputed title by the Malaysian government was circulated in 2012 and the actor can also been seen mentioning the same in many of his interviews during the Nadigar Sangam elections. He is also addressed as 'Datuk' Radha Ravi in the title credits of his films. With doubts being raised again, will the veteran actor clarify and provide proof of having been conferred the title at least now?
