is among the most sought-after actresses in K-Town. The actress, who has just started shooting for Raghava Lawrence’s Kathiresan-directed
Rudhran
, recently signed on Obeli N Krishna’s
Pathu Thala
, which stars Silambarasan and Gautham Karthik in the lead. And now, we hear that Priya is on board
Arun Vijay’s next as well, which is being directed by
Hari.
A source tells us, “The hunt to finalise the cast and crew for the film has been on since December. It was only recently that Priya was finalised for the part. An official announcement would be made by early February, just before the team starts shooting.”
However, when we reached out to Priya, she denied the news. But our source claims that the actress has even been paid an advance, and she might be reluctant to confirm until the official announcement.
This is the first time that Arun Vijay will be teaming up with his brother-in-law, Hari, for a movie. The film will be an emotional drama, packed with action, and will be extensively shot in Karaikudi, Rameswaram, Thoothukudi and Chennai, among other locations.
