Shankar's directorial 'Game Changer' starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 10, 2025, coinciding with the Sankranti aka Pongal festival. Set for a wide release, the mega-budget film is releasing in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. But the film faces trouble as 'Indian 3' makers reportedly approached the Tamil Film Producer's Council to ban the release of 'Game Changer' in Tamil Nadu. As per the latest update 'Indian 3' makers have reportedly raised concerns, stating that director Shankar should not release 'Game Changer' in Tamil Nadu until he completes the pending portions of 'Indian 3'.
Addressing the issue, Shankar clarified that a few scenes and a song shoot for Indian 3 are yet to be completed and assured that these will be finished after the release of Game Changer. Negotiations between the production house and the director are currently ongoing to resolve the situation amicably and let's wait to see whether 'Game Changer' will have a smooth release in Tamil Nadu or not.
