Ravi Varman was asked about the status of ‘Indian 2’, which was formally announced last year. Talking about the project, Ravi Varman said that Shankar had narrated ‘Indian 2’ for about three hours. Excited about the film, Varman revealed that the story of ‘Indian 2’ itself is mind-blowing. Now, that’s some exciting news for Kamal fans.
It must be noted that Ravi Varman has been roped in to crank the camera in ‘Indian 2’. The project will reportedly mark his third association with Haasan after ‘Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu’ and ‘Dasavatharam’.
To be made on a lavish budget by Lyca Productions, ‘Indian 2’ is a sequel to the blockbuster vigilante thriller that came out in 1996. Reportedly, the
Bollywood
actor Ajay Devgn will play the main antagonist in the film, which is being jointly penned by Jayamohan,
Kabilan Vairamuthu
and Lakshmi Saravanakumar. Actress
Nayanthara’s name is doing the rounds for the female lead. An official statement about the progress of the film is expected soon.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan’s highly anticipated ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ is slated to release this Friday.
