I'm very nervous: Sonia

Her last Tamil film was Thiruttu Payale, way back in 2006. And now, actress Sonia Aggarwal ' after much deliberation ' has zeroed in on that project that'll mark her comeback to Kollywood.
The film in question is Vaanam, a remake of the Telugu hit Vedam. Confirming the news to TOI, Sonia says, 'I'm thrilled to be back in Kollywood and I'm looking forward to shoot for the film.'
The main draw for the actress was the engrossing subject of the film and the involvement of the director in it.'I've seen the Telugu original and frankly, I wasn't very impressed with the role that I've currently signed for,' she admits and adds, 'However, director Krish convinced me that it would be a great comeback for me in Tamil. In fact, I'll have three or four scenes extra in the Tamil remake and one extra song.'
The actress starts shooting for the film in Hyderabad from today. Interestingly, she was offered the Telugu original but couldn't commit to it because she wasn't available for shoot at that time.
Vaanam follows the multiple storytelling format where all stories converge in the climax and stars several actors including Simbu, Prakash Raj, Bharath and Anushka.
So, is Sonia concerned about the presence of other stars? 'Not at all... Kollywood has undergone a sea change and audiences have started accepting radically different subjects,' she feels, 'Vaanam is not the typical commercial film and I'm glad I chose such a subject and role for my comeback. I was waiting for something like this to come back to Tamil.'
Will it be a tough job facing the camera after such a long gap? 'I'm very nervous,' confesses Sonia. 'I was thinking to myself, 'what if I'd forgotten how to act?' But seriously, I'm quite excited and have a lot of confidence in director Krish. I'm sure that the final product will be neat,' she signs off.
