Ileana D’Cruz, who was last seen in Tamil in Vijay-starrer 'Nanban' directed by Shankar, has now opened up about some of the bizarre
rumours
about her, that were reported in the past. In a recent interview to a online portal, actress Ileana D'Cruz has spoken about being the victim of fake news more than once.
The pretty actress has said that there were rumours that she was
pregnant
and had undergone an
abortion
. Back in 2018, when Ileana was with her then-boyfriend, photographer
Andrew Kneebone
, there were reports that she was expecting her first child. However, without letting the rumours go out of hand, Ileana clarified on social media that she was 'not pregnant'.
Speaking about the pregnancy rumour, Ileana said, "There was one where apparently I was pregnant and had an abortion. It is kind of sad, honestly, that people actually wrote stuff like that. It was bizarre.”
In the same interaction, she also opened up about false reports which claimed that she had attempted suicide. "There was another where I had committed suicide, not attempted. Very sad. (That) I had committed suicide but I had survived and my maid had confirmed the news. I didn’t have a maid, I didn’t attempt suicide, I was alive. It didn’t make any sense. I don’t even know where they get stuff like that," said Ileana.
Ileana had split from her boyfriend Andrew Kneebone last year.
