Ilaiyaraaja sets the stage on fire

Maestro Ilaiyaraaja stunned the audience in New Jersey on February 23 at The Prestigious Prudential Center Arena ��� Newark. This was the composer���s first ever live concert in the city. The concert had some of the leading singers in the industry, including SP Balasubramaniam, Hariharan, Chitra, Sadhana Sargam, Mano and the younger lot like Karthik, Vijay Yesudas, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Karthik Raja and Shweta perfoming live and the audience was in rapture.
Earlier in the evening, almost all the tickets for the maestro's concert were sold out within 48 hours. Many fans of the composer flew down from places like Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, North Carolina, Boston and Virginia for the concert. The organisers of the concert had launched five promotional videos for the concert and needless to say, it was a dream that came true for Indian music enthusiasts.
