The team of GV Prakash’s Kadhalikka Yarumillai has resumed shooting in Munnar. The film directed by Kamala Prakash, and also starring Raiza, Guru Somasundaram, Manikandan, and Shah Ra in important roles, got back to shooting after a long gap. Raiza, who shared some stills on her social media, said that they just wrapped up a schedule in Munnar.
“It felt great to shoot after so long and all of us were excited that the film is getting closer to being done.

We fell right back into the pattern and it was more comfortable this time. There was improv, on-the-spot dialogues and many such activities that happened that weren’t part of the script or plan,” says Raiza.
The actress said the locations they shot in were beautiful, clean, and suited the story. “We shot in deep interiors mostly and didn’t have signal throughout the shoot. So, we spent most of the time interacting with each other, which resulted in everyone becoming good friends. All of us were very involved in the shoot,” she says.
Raiza also says that some of the team members saw elephants during the shoot. “I pranked GV and other members of the cast throughout the shoot that there was a leopard nearby. I was so bored without my phone that I entertained myself this way,” she laughs.
Even when some of the cast members didn’t have scenes to shoot on certain days, they stuck around for the rest of the team, who were shooting, says Raiza. “GV had a bunch of action sequences and stunts. We used to stick around just to cheer him on,” she says, adding, “The staff did suffer, though. There were leeches and some fell sick, too. We were like one big family. It felt like hanging out with old friends.”
