Sai Sekar’s yet-to-be-titled thriller has been in the news lately. First it was for actor Siddharth signing up as the hero, then for Catherine Tresa, who will play the female lead, and now, it’s for the

villain

.

Kabir Duhan Singh, who played the villain who got beaten up by Ajith in Vedalam, will be the villain in this film. “It’s a beautiful script. Mazaa aa gaya,” says Kabir, who is in Chennai these days to sign on the dotted lines for yet another film, which, he avers, he will tell us all about soon.

“I have watched Siddharth’s films, he is a thinking man’s hero, and selects films he wants to do with a lot of care. So, while I was already thinking I should do this film when I heard he was the hero, listening to the script completely flipped me over. I play a Bombay-based villain who comes to Chennai looking for the murderer of one of his people. I figure things out by myself, and reach the murderer; in short, I play an intellectual, intelligent villain and not someone who indulges in mindless killings and bloodbath for stunts’ sake. Remember the villain in Taken? This role is just like that,” says Kabir.
