Prajin Padmanabhan, who started the year with the full-on romantic drama Ninaivellam Neeyada talks to us about his upcoming movies. He shares, “I’m doing a political thriller, Samuga Virodhi, directed by Zion Raja, and also doing Ram Prabha’s gangster film, Tharaipadai.”
“I have also worked on a family entertainer in between. It’s an untitled project. I like that every film that I’m currently part of belongs to a different genre,” the actor adds.
About what he looks forward to when signing a film, Prajin says, “I put myself in the audience’s shoes and think if this will work for them.
I like doing boy-next-door roles. When people watch my movies, they should feel like they are watching themselves on screen.”
Prajin also mentions that his decision to leave television and focus on films was because it got too hectic to manage both. “At one point, I used to do both television and films. But it became hectic and I also couldn’t change my look to maintain the continuity of the TV show. Since when I was in seventh grade, my passion has been to become an actor,” says the Chinna Thambi star.
