I have become quite choosy now: Badava Gopi

Badava Gopi is on a roll. The actor, anchor and mimicry artiste has a couple of Kollywood films in hand, and also travelling around the globe for his performances. Gopi, who recently completed filming for Chennai - 28 Part II, says that he had a jolly-good time playing the role that he won accolades for, in the first part. Talking about the film, he says, ���I play a cricket commentator in the film. My role in the first part was a huge hit. The dialogue

was used multiple times, and now, we even have a movie coming with the same name. So it became a challenge of sorts to come with up interesting dialogues for the sequel, too. But nevertheless, we have some interesting lines that are sure to become a hit.���

Gopi is also working on Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal, where he plays a ���love debator���. He says, ���It is an interesting role. Most of my dialogues in the film are taken from my own experiences. I had a good time working with Jai, too!���

He has also signed his next with Ashok Selvan. The film, which is titled Rangoli, will go on floors from next month. ���In this, I play a full-fledged role. I play Ashok���s thai maaman. He and I will be there throughout the film, and it should be a laugh riot!��� he says.

Gopi

has a lot of offers in his hands, he says that he���s become quite choosy about his roles. ���I don���t want to repeat my roles. I took up Chennai 28... only because it is a sequel. After doing Poraali, I got sterotyped to mere ���husband��� roles. It tends to become boring. So, I take films that portray me differently in different characters, every time,��� he signs off.
