You received praise for your item number in Chennai Express. Are more offers coming your way from Bollywood?
I know there are many actresses who are testing waters there. I too have been receiving offers, but I am taking my time.If the film is nice, has a good script, then why not? If the cast comprises Aamir, Shah Rukh, Salman Khan or Hrithik Roshan, I am all for it. I don���t mind doing another special number in Bollywood. What do you mean?
Well, In Bollywood, even if you are a top-rung actress and you do an item number, it doesn���t really matter. You will be considered for a good role in your next film. On the other hand, in the south if you do a couple of item numbers, you will be branded as an item girl and someone who has no work.
You have been missing from Kollywood���
After Chaarulatha, I have not received roles that are up to my satisfaction. I am doing a Malayalam film called True Story, which is based on a real-life incident, and a Kannada film titled Ambareesha.
