“While taking up this offer, I had mixed feelings, of being excited and feeling quite nervous. Since the film is set against the north Chennai backdrop, I had to be at least closer to the perfection of delivering dialogues in the unique north Madras slang of Tamil. Thanks to director Baba Bhaskar sir, GV Prakash and others... They were quite patient and helpful over enhancing the verbal quotients,” says Pallak.

Ask her about her role in the film and she says, “The story happens in a slum in Chennai and I play a girl in such a neighborhood. When Baba Bhaskar sir narrated the script, I was really excited; the commercial ingredients and the commendable theme are interwoven together. My character, I would say, has been nicely written and it is not something that you can call a ‘blink-and-miss’ role. I am keeping my fingers crossed that audiences will appreciate my performance.”

Featuring GV Prakash (also the music composer for this film), and

Parthiban

, the film also has Yogi Babu, Poonam Bajwa and few more familiar actors. Mahesh Muthuswamy’s cinematography has already gotten noticed in the trailer and songs. Praveen KL has worked on the editing.
