I am really upset over the recent mob attack in Chennai: Soundara Raja

Film actor and social activist, Soundara Raja, today posted a video of him talking about how upset he is with a recent untoward incident that happened in Chennai. He was referring to the incident where a mob denied burial of a Chennai doctor after he died of Covid-19. The mob attacked the ambulance in which the mortal remains of the doctor was carried and stopped his burial over Covid-19 fears.

Along with a video, he also wrote a note thanking actor-turned politician Vijayakanth, who announced his decision to allow the burial of coronavirus victims on the campus of his college, which is in the outskirts of Chennai. Soundara Raja wrote, “Please think and behave atleast like a human. My hearty thanks and so proud of my beloved thalaivar @iVijayakant anna (he had given his own land for doctors & nurse) (sic)."



The actor was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Sanga Thamizhan’ Last year, he was also seen in Thalapathy Vijay’s blockbuster film Bigil, which was directed by Atlee. Next, the actor will be seen in Dhanush’s Jagame Thandhiram which is said to be an action thriller.
