I am back in films after a gap of four years: Bosskey
Bosskey, who’s best known for his humorous TV shows, seems to be quite excited about making re-entry into films after a gap of four years. He says he’s pleasantly surprised with the release of his two movies - Dharma Prabhu and Jiivi – on the same day, which marks his comeback in the films. He says, “The last film which I did was a crime thriller titled Aah in 2015.

In Dharma Prabhu, I enact Cho Ramaswamy and in Jiivi, my role is that of a police informer” Ask him about enacting Cho’s role and he replies, “I am not a mimicry artist. I didn’t mimic Cho in the film. I’ve been following Cho for the last many decades. His body language and the way he talks, the logic behind all that is humour and I just followed that in the film. And the makers of the film gave me the liberty to do it my way.”
Talking about his cricket show, he says, “It’s a World Cup show on News J. There’s an expert in the show. Apart from that, there’s another guest in the show who could be from any field. People from different walks of life can be a part of it. It could be an auto driver, an artist, an actor, et.al. The first show had Mylapore MLA, Nataraj, as the guest. Then, I had celebs like Y Gee Mahendra, Unnikrishnan, Radha Ravi and others. Astrology is also one part of the show. Also, there’s a segment for the viewers to share memes and trolls. So, the entire show is pretty interesting. It’s a daily live.” Apart all this, he says, he’s also a motivational speaker now. “I do motivational talks through humour. I’ve been getting offers from colleges and corporates, of late,” he concludes.
