Director Aadhichandran, who has completed the shoot of his movie,
Dola
, a horror thriller, in 10 days, is hopeful of offering a different experience for the audience. According to him, the film, starring
Rishi Rithvik (who played the lead in Attu) and
Prerna Khanna in lead roles, has a complex and intriguing screenplay, which confused even its technicians and actors during the shoot.
He says, “The story of the film revolves around a middle-class guy who invites a call girl to his home. An unexpected spooky element enters the plot and how they try to escape from the place forms the crux of the story. The movie, the duration of which is 1 hour 40 minutes, was shot in Kolathur, with 90 per cent of the scenes being shot indoors. We were able to complete the shooting in 10 days because of double call sheet from the crew.”
Dola, which is expected to have a theatrical release next month, has cinematography by Edmond and editing by Veera Senthil Raj.
