', 'The Village', 'Unbreakable' and 'Signs' to his credit, last directed psychological thriller 'Glass' James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, Anya Taylor-Joy, Sarah Paulson and Samuel L. Jackson. His first film however was way back in 1992. The filmmaker, on Twitter, recently remembered shooting for his first film as a 21-year-old, in Chennai.

"Me directing my first film in Chennai, India at 21. #tbt It played in two theaters for a few weeks. #persevere," the filmmaker tweeted, along with an archival photograph of him shooting in Chennai.
The film in discussion is 'Praying with Anger', which starred Shyamalan as a young Indian American man, who makes his way to India as an exchange student. Shyamalan's recent work was 'Servant', a web series starring Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, Nell Tiger Free and Rupert Grint.
