Hindi Remake of 'Viswasam' - Reason why two actors rejected to play lead role

’ directed by Siva is one of them. ‘Viswasam’ attracted a lot of family audiences as it depicted the relationship between a father and a daughter. The movie was released in 2019 and the movie featured Ajith Kumar, Nayanthara and Anikha in the lead roles. Earlier, Manish Shah acquired the remake rights of ‘Viswasam’ in Hindi reportedly.

According to reports, actors Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn have rejected the role to play as main lead in the remake film. The actors reportedly stated that the film story is not suitable for Hindi audiences and that’s why they had rejected it.

‘Viswasam’ was produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and the music for the movie was composed by

D Imman

. The movie also won the 67th National Film Award for Best Music Director.

Akshay Kumar was last seen in ‘Atrangi Re’ which starred Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan. Ajay Devgn is currently filming for the movie ‘Mayday’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh.
