It’s indeed a huge victory for the Nadigar Sangam as the Madras High Court removed the interim stay on the construction of the Nadigar Sangam building on Tuesday. The High Court had imposed an interim stay to construct the Nadigar Sangam building early this year. The Nadigar Sangam committee is headed by actors Nasser, Vishal and Karthi.

After hearing the parties, the division bench consisting of Hon’ble justice N Kirubakaran and Hon'ble Justice V Parthiban vacated the interim order prohibiting the Sangam from putting up any construction and reserved orders in the main writ petition. They added that the petitioners had not made out a prima facie case and that they would pass detailed orders shortly. The Sangam was represented by AL senior advocate Somayaji, who was assisted by advocate Krishna Ravindran.
