Karthi's last outing was with the adventure drama film 'Dev', and recently, he warpped up the shoot of his next '
Kaithi
' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of '
Maanagaram
' fame. The actor is currently acting in an untitled project directed by
Jeethu Joseph of 'Papanasam' fame.
The shooting of this movie kick starterd in the last week of April at Goa and Ooty. For the first time, Karthi will be sharing screen space with his sister in law Jyothika who will play his sibling alongside veteran actor
Sathyaraj who will be donning the role of their father.
The film also features veteran actress Seetha who was last seen in
Dhanush starrer 'Thangamagan' and Anson Paul of '90 ML' fame in a negative role. Ading to the list is Ammu Abirami of 'Ratsasan' fame who also who played Karthi's sister in 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' and Nikhila Vimal who recently joined the team in Ooty.
Touted to be a family entertainer and thriller, the film is bankrolled by
Parallel minds
production company. Govind Vasantha of '96' and 'Seethakathi' fame is composing the music for the film and RD Rajasekhar is the man beind the camera. The film is slated to hit the screens by October 2019.
