Here's how 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' trailer was made!

The magnum opus of Mani Ratnam, 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' - the sequel of the historic epic drama is all set to release in theatres on April 28. The film's audio and trailer launch is happening on March 29 in Chennai. The film's trailer will be launched by the versatile actor Kamal Haasan who is also the narrator in the film.
The movie makers took to social media on March 28 to share the BTS video on how the trailer of 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' was edited.The video also gives us a glimpse of the technical and audio work and the video also features Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Jayaram dubbing for their scenes.
This video also answers to the cliff-hanging climax of PS1 on whether Jayam Ravi and Karthi survived the storm in the sea.

The film stars Vikram, Trisha, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai and Jayam Ravi in lead roles and the rest of the cast includes Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Jeyaram, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Vikram Prabhu, Kishore, Sobhitha Dhulipala and Aishwarya Lekshmi. The music for the movie is composed by AR Rahman.
