Here is the list of people who won awards at the 19th Chennai International Film Festival

The 19th Chennai International Film Festival concluded on January 6. The Film Festival was hosted by the Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation and it began on December 30 and went on till the last day.

About 12 films were screened at the festival and the Special Jury Award was given to actress Lakshmi Priya. The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and the Amitabh Bachchan Youth Icon Award was presented to the singer Sid Sriram.

The Award for the Best Picture was won by the film ‘Sivaranjaniyum Innum Sila Pengalum’ and was awarded a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh. The second Best Picture Award was shared between the movie ‘

Thaen

’ and ‘

Sethuman

’ and was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh.
