Ajith’s ‘Thunivu’ was released in theatres worldwide on January 11. The film has made a box office collection of Rs 170 crore in Tamil Nadu and a gross of Rs 40 crore from other countries. The film was also released in Malaysia and is still being screened at the international theatre after two weeks of its release.

Harris Jayaraj who is touring Malaysia has watched the Ajith starrer along with the actor's fans in Malaysia.
Taking to social media, the actor’s fan club in Malaysia shared an image featuring the music composer after watching the film in the theatre. The fans also gifted with a souvenir poster of Ajith and Harris Jayaraj to the music composer
Harris Jayaraj had composed music for the film ‘Ennai Arindhal’ that features Ajith in lead role. Sharing the photo, the official fan page of Ajith in Malaysia stated, “Harris Jayaraj Sir has watched our #Thunivu movie with team @Thalafansml and #malikstreams.”
Directed by H Vinoth, the film is a bank heist thriller and the cast includes Ajith,
Manju Warrier,
John Kokken, Samuthirakani, Ciby, Ameer, Pavni Reddy among others. The music for the movie is composed by Ghibran. The film is all set to make its digital premiere on February 10 on the OTT platform.
‘Thunivu’ has now become one of the blockbusters of the year by making a 3 digit crore collection and it is expected to have a good run in theatres till February second week.
