, has shocked the entire world. Though the cause of the blast which happened near the city’s port is unknown, the casualties seem to be more than 100, going by several sources. A video of a few seconds’ duration from the spot which has the explosion in its intense form has been doing the rounds on social media as soon as the horrific news broke out. People from different walks of life have been taking to their social media accounts to express shock and grief over the tragic incident. A few young stars of

were quick to react on the unfortunate incident through their Twitter accounts.

Harish Kalyan tweeted, “All our prayers with the people of #Beirut #Lebanon.”

Priya Anand’s tweet read, “The Images and videos coming out of #Beirut is heartbreaking. 2020 continues with new disasters... My Prayers and thoughts with the people of Lebanon.”

Manjima Mohan reacted to a tweet pertaining to the news from a leading media organisation’s Twitter account by posting a broken heart emoji.

Gautham Karthik was another star who expressed pain over the incident. He tweeted, “This is horrifying! My prayers for the people of #Beirut #Lebanon.”
