GV Prakash's Selfie certified U/A

Popular music director turned actor GV Prakash's upcoming action thriller titled 'Selfie', which is directed by debutant Mathi Maran, a former associate of Vetri Maaran, is all set to hit the screens on April 1, 2022. The film, which also has Gautham Vasudev Menon in an important role with 'Bigil' fame Varsha Bollama playing the female lead, has been cleared by the Censor Board with an U/A certificate.
The trailer of the film, which was released recently gave a glimpse of what the film deals with and it promises a gripping action thriller for the audience. The story revolves around the characters played by GV Prakash, Gautham Menon, Vagai Chandrasekar and Guna and deals about the business of luring students into the management quota of colleges.
The film is an action thriller, which will look at the off-campus life of an engineering student for four years. GV Prakash Kumar is playing the role of a college student, who seems to start making money by getting students to join colleges through management quota, which infuriates Gautham Menon, who seems to have been doing the business for a long time.
Vishnu Rangasamy will be handling the cinematography of the movie, while the editing is to be done by S Ilayaraja.
