The trailer of GV Prakash's 'Sarvam Thaalamayam' that is set to release on February 1st has been released. The film has GV Prakash and Aparna Balamurali playing the lead. The rest of the star cast includes Nedumudi Venu, Vineeth, Kumaravel, Santha Dhananjayan and Dhivyadarshini. The two minute and 10 seconds trailer gives a glimpse of a mridangam maker’s son, who aspires to learn the instrument from a maestro and become a mridangam player and how he has to cross social and personal barriers to reach his goal.
Actor Dhanush released the official trailer of the film on his social networking page and posted in Tamil, which translates into, "Music has no restriction such as caste, creed, religion or language.

Music for the film is by AR Rahman and cinematography by Ravi Yadav. The album’s lyrics are by Madhan Karky, Arunraja Kamaraj and the late Na Muthukumar. STM has also been dubbed into Telugu. This is Menon’s third directorial venture after Minsara Kanavu and Kandukondain Kandukondain.
The film was supposed to release on December 28 last year but got postponed due to reasons unknown. Earlier AR Rahman who has composed for this musical recently revealed that the film would be hitting the screens in February 2019.
Simbu's 'Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven' directed by Sundar C is also releasing on February 1st. The film has Megha Akash and Catherine Tres playing the female lead with Mahat playing a cameo.
