GV Prakash has announced his next with debutant director

. The film, is said to be a romantic crime thriller, which will go on floors in December. Says Akilan, "I was working under two of Bala's assistants and also did a short film called 'Motta Maadi'. I was writing a few scripts and I heard from a production house that GV Prakash sir was looking for a good script. I got to meet him and narrate this script. He really liked the screenplay. He plays a medical representative in the film, and his character will have different shades. This role will very different from the ones he has played before. We will be shooting in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru."

The team is finalising other cast members of the film. Talks are on with some leading stars, and soon, the team will make an announcement on the same. GV Prakash will also be scoring music for the film, while MA Rajadurai will be handling the cinematography. The film got off to a great start with a simple puja that was held at Valasaravakkam today. The event was held in accordance with government norms, with all participants maintaining social distance and wearing masks.
