Director Seenu Ramasamy's film with GV Prakash Kumar and Gayathrie Shankar titled, 'Idi Muzhakkam' has been long awaiting its release. While the film earlier premiered at the Pune International Film Festival, it has now been selected to be premiered at 50th Seattle Film Festival.
Produced by Kalaimagan Mubarak of Skyman Films, the film is based on the incidents in and around the Madurai landscape. While GV will play a meat shop owner at a rural place and sporting three different looks for the film, Gayathrie plays a nurse. Actors Aruldoss, Saranya Ponvannan, and Soundar are also part of the star cast of the film.
NR Raghunathan is composing music for the film, Vairamuthu is penning lyrics and Gayathrie of 'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom' fame plays GV Prakash's pair.
