Music composer and actor GV Prakash's recent film 'Rebel' directed by debutant Nikesh, which hit the screens on March 22, 2024 has made it's way on a popular OTT platform. The film, which is said to be about a rebel student in Munnar in the 1980s, is now available on Amazon Prime.
The film which has Mollywood actress Mamitha Baiju making her debut as a female lead will be an action drama, with a little bit of politics. 'Rebel' revolves around the oppression faced by the Tamil students in Kerala colleges. The film cast includes Venkitesh VP, Shalu Rahim, Karunas, Adhithya Baskar, Kalloori Vinoth and Subramaniya Siva among others.
Interestingly, GV Prakash has also scored the music and the technical team includes cinematography by Arunkrishna Radhakrishnan and editing by Leo John Paul.
