Gouri Kishan

is playing the younger version of Samantha in the film.

Gouri who played the younger version of Trisha in 96 received a lot of appreciation from the audience for the portrayal of younger Janu. The actress recently took to her social media handle to announce that she is playing the younger version of Samantha in Jaanu too. She had posted, ‘The first look poster of the Telugu Remake of ‘96 is out and it’s titled - Jaanu. Lucky enough to play young Jaanu another time. The film has music by Govind Vasantha, who composed music for the original version. Gouri Kishan who shot to fame after the role in 96 is currently working in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Master, which has Vijay playing the lead role.
