Thalapathy Vijay fans are eagerly awaiting the release of ‘The Greatest of All Time – GOAT,’ which will hit theaters within a few hours. Actor Premgi Amaren, the brother of director Venkat Prabhu, expressed his excitement in a recent interview.
He predicted that the film would be a massive hit, earning Rs 1500 crore worldwide across all languages. Premgi also shared insights into his role in ‘GOAT.’
He revealed that Vijay plays two characters in the movie – an older and a younger version of himself. Premgi's character has a unique relationship with both versions: he calls the older Vijay 'mama' (uncle), while the younger Vijay refers to Premgi's character as 'mama.' Additionally, he mentioned that he plays the brother of Sneha’s character, who is married to the older version of Vijay's character.
Premgi mentioned that the car number in Vijay's upcoming film ‘GOAT’ is CM2026, hinting at Thalapathy Vijay's possible entry into politics in 2026. When asked if he would support Vijay in the elections, Premgi enthusiastically confirmed, stating that he would vote for Vijay and confidently predicted that Vijay would become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in 2026. 'I will vote for him in 2026. I guarantee you that Vijay will become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in 2026. Wait and watch,' he stated.
He has now acted alongside both Ajith Kumar and Thalapathy Vijay and revealed that his all-time favorite remains superstar Rajinikanth. While he expresses admiration for Ajith and Vijay, he places Rajinikanth above all.
Premgi finally teased that ‘GOAT’ will be full of surprises and a grand celebration for fans. After overcoming the grief of losing his mother, Premgi is now in a happy place, both personally and professionally, eagerly anticipating the ‘GOAT’ celebrations on September 5.
